CHRIST LIKENESS

By Min. LaVerne Brewster

We have an outer man and an inner man. The outer is what the world sees at first glance and what we project in the mirror, however the inner man is the spirit of God and that is His likeness. It is God's revelation to the world and allows others to see Christ in us instead of our reflection they see the image of Christ. Romans 7:22 says “For I delight in the law of God according to the inner man.”

It is through this reflection that people are saved, healed, and delivered. This is the presence of God. It is how we become the visible representation in the earth. This is not based on trying to be like Christ but knowing that He lives and breathes in us, it is how we put on Christ.

Christ's likeness has nothing to do with how many scriptures we know, or how good we think we are, but everything to do with the spirit of Christ that dwells inside of us.

Col. 1:27 - “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles which is Christ in you the hope of glory.

We are the hope of glory in the earth and this is how we should project Christ's likeness to the world.
