I would like to share a few reflections from Pastor's recent teachings on Colossians 1.
Christ in us...our eternal hope. Christ in you, the hope of glory.
"God has put some of Himself in us."
- Pastor Clark
We have been made partakers of the divine nature according to 1 Peter. The bible says the earth is groaning the manifestation/revealing of the sons of God. I truly believe we all want to and can experience more of the presence and power of God in and through our lives.
The Apostle Paul instructs us to earnestly pray that we be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. John 1:16 says of his fulness have we all received grace for grace. NLT reads from his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.
You and have been given exceeding great and precious promises. Where are they? Hidden in Christ. Where is Christ? Seated at the right hand of the Father AND living inside of every believer by his Spirit. Are we crying out for more of His presence to be revealed in our lives? He still hears the cry of the righteous. Let us press on into the presence of God for more of the image of Christ who is the icon/image of God to be formed in us. More impact, more influence, greater grace for His glory.
Christ, the pre-existent, preeminent, eternal one.
Christ, the high priest and intercessor.
Christ, the Lion and the Lamb!
Let Christ who is our life be revealed more and more in our lives through the revelation of the Son of God.
The whole earth is groaning...
