Jesus gives us the correct instructions, precepts and principles to demonstrate among the people. He is our pattern of truth, righteousness, integrity and holiness. He is God but he is also the son of man He is our greatest example in the earth. He is the leader that we can follow. He also is the high priest who is touched by the feelings of our infirmities therefore whatever you have gone through so have He. This allows us to declare victory in every situation.
We are to stand on the truth of His word and the bible says we have many precious promises. The bible says He is the way, the truth, and the life. This means that Truth is one of the manifestations of Christ. That’s why we must quickly obey when we get a word from God. The bible says that we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. This means as we walk in the truth of His word this leads to freedom and deliverance. The bible says that Jesus is full of grace and truth as we seek to have an impact on others, we need to deal with them with grace and truth.
Righteousness is important as we seek to have a successful life in Christ Jesus. He requires righteousness. The bible says that those who practice righteousness is born of him and those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. We can be filled to the overflow with righteousness. Matthew 13:43 “Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” What a privilege it is to be a part of His kingdom. We are called to be examples to others as we walk in righteousness.
We are called to walk in integrity this allows us to have healthy relationships. The person that we are when we are alone should be the same person that we present to others. Sometimes it is easy to wear the mask, but this only can last for so long. People are watching us; natural family, co-workers, disciples and your church family. This is equally important for those who are called to Leadership. The bible says that the integrity of the upright will guide them. Consider Joseph in Potiphar’s house Potiphar’s wife came after him day after day to try seducing him, but he maintained his integrity. Then she lied and told Potiphar that Joseph had tried to seduce her which led to him being put in prison, however we know the end of the story he ended up in the palace.
Holiness is important God expects us to have lives dedicated to purity and sanctification. We know that no one is perfect, and we all make mistakes, but our Lord Jesus Christ still requires holiness. The bible says be holy as I am holy. The bible also says that without holiness no man can see the Lord, to get 20/20 vision in the realm of the spirit this requires holiness. Holiness is still right. This is about the transformation of our character. The standard may seem high but remember God does not adjust His standards to meet us we have to do the adjusting. The bible says that we are to worship the lord in the slender of his holiness.
